Air Fryer Tofu Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 block extra-firm tofu, drained and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 - 2 metal or bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Place the tofu cubes in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Thread the marinated tofu cubes onto the skewers, making sure not to overcrowd the skewers.
  5. Place the tofu skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the basket.
  6. Cook the tofu skewers for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are browned and crispy.
  7. Once the tofu skewers are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and serve hot. Enjoy!
