Ingredients

  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Place the butter in the center of the rectangle and fold the dough over it, sealing the edges. Roll out the dough again into a large rectangle.
  6. Fold the dough into thirds, like a letter. Roll out the dough again into a large rectangle and fold it into thirds again. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill it in
