Air Fryer Beef Satay

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch strips
  • 0.25 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon red curry paste
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, red curry paste, garlic, cumin, coriander, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Place the beef strips in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Thread the marinated beef strips onto the skewers, making sure not to overcrowd the skewers.
  5. Place the beef skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the basket.
  6. Cook the beef skewers for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness and caramelized.
  7. Once the beef skewers are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
